For the final project of my color and composition class I chose to portray a house that is very special to me. It was built in 1920 originally known as the Wilkey House, but it's importance to me is because my Nana, Peggy Allen grew up in this home.

Fortunately, the house still exists today and I have admired it through most of my childhood (maybe because I have the heart of a fixer upper.) Recreating it in this way has allowed me to see the past beauty of a house that is quickly approaching its 100th year.

The top sheet is done mylar paper, because it is transparent it is largely used for layering. The bottom sheet is bristol board. The entire drawing is done in color pencil.
