CITIZENS IN OUR SCHOOL 

Within this unit focused on citizenship and belonging, students are asked to think about their role as participants in their school, they will design a  proposal for a socially engaged artwork that could be implemented to address an aspect of their school that they would like to change.

HANGING SCULPTURES

This fifth grade lesson is written for the Georgia Museum of Art Richard Hunt: Synthesis Exhibit. Students focus on the interaction viewers have with hanging sculptures through positive and negative space, geometric and organic shapes, and representational and abstract forms .
